The company is very much aware of the occupational hazards involved with roofing work and makes it its policy to ensure that all staff are fully trained in all the areas of Health and Safety.
Construction Skills Certification Scheme
We have been working towards a fully qualified workforce since January 2002 and as at end February 2009, 100% of our workforce hold CSCS cards with all Tradesmen having gained their NVQ level 2.
Training
In addition to Health and Safety training, all our operatives are experienced workers who have been fully trained both internally, and externally through specialist courses. All staff are completely familiar with the operating procedures within the quality system which are relevant to their work and are expected to comply with the requirements of all such procedures.
Quality & Associations
In order to ensure that all work is carried out in a manner which provides the highest quality of service to clients, the company has put into effect a quality system which is in line with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001: 2000. Registration has not yet been sought.

National Federation of Roofing Contractors
The NFRC is the major roofing Federation in the UK. It aims to: raise professional standards; provide a technical and business forum for roofing contractors and manufacturers. It also provides a list of quality contractors list for both domestic and commercial roofing work for clients.

The Northern Counties Safety Group was established in 1972 and provides a range of safety-related services to its members, including high quality safety training and regular site inspections.
